With the increasing visits of tourists who come to Bali especially to the regency of Gianyar, tourism actors must be able to provide and develop a variety of attractions that is required for the consumption of tourists, especially foreign tourists.

To anticipate it now in the Village Blangsinga, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar District Level II area, precisely in the valley Waterfall Tegenungan, has stood Bungge Jumping, namely a place of attraction for tourists who like to jump from a height of approximately 50 meters. This place is very appropriate for the attraction because of the natural surroundings of pristine waterfall and the area freely, so the possible dangers arising is very small.

Kerta Gosa

Kerta Gosa

As a former empire, fair if Klungkung has many relics which is now a tourist attraction. One of them is Park Gili Kerta Gosa, Klungkung Semarapura cultural heritage palace. Kerta Gosa is a building (Bale) who is part of the palace complex of buildings Semarapura and has been built around the year 1686 the foundation stone of power and the first holder of the throne of the kingdom of Klungkung is Ida I Dewa Agung Jambe.

Gosa Kerta consists of two buildings (bale) that Bale and Bale Kambang akerta Gosa. Called Bale Kambang because this building is surrounded by a pool of Taman Gili. Uniqueness Kerta Gosa with Kambang Bale is on the ceiling surface or the ceiling is decorated with paintings bale traditional Kamasan style (a village in Klungkung) or style of puppet that is very popular among the people of Bali. At first, the paintings that adorn the ceiling of the building was made of cloth and Parba. New since 1930 is replaced and created over plasterboard then restored in accordance with the original picture and still intact today. As the cultural heritage of Kraton Semarapura, Kerta Gosa and Bale Kambang enabled to try the case and place where religious ceremonies are especially Yadnya cutting teeth (mepandes) like sons and daughters of the king.

The function of the two buildings is closely related to the function of education through puppet paintings presented at the ceiling of the building. Therefore, these paintings is a series of stories that take a principal theme of Swargarokanaparwa and Bima parwa Swarga who guide punishment karma phala (result of the merits of human acts committed during his life) as well as re-incarnation into the world through the sin and sin- sin. Therefore not wrong to say that psychologically, the themes of paintings that adorn the ceiling Kerta Gosa building contains the values of mental and spiritual education. The painting is divided into six rows of bunk.

Bottom row illustrates the themes derived from stories Tanti. Dereta second from the bottom illustrates the theme of the story in Swargarakanaparwa Bimaswarga. The next row of themed stories Bagawan Kasyapa. Fourth row of the theme that is characteristic Palalindon or meaning and significance of earthquake are mythological. Continued story taken from Bimaswarga ineffable theme that is located on the fifth row was nearly at ceiling cone building. In the last row or the sixth is occupied by a picture of the life of nirvana. In addition to the roof of the building Kerta Gosa, wayang paintings also adorn the ceiling of the building to the west of the Bale Kambang Kerta Gosa. On the ceiling are paintings puppet Kambang Bale takes the theme from the Ramayana and Sutasoma Kakawin story. Taking the theme yanga derived from this kakawin hinted that the function of the building is a place to hold Bale Kambang religious ceremony that is cutting teeth Manusa Yadnya sons and daughters of the king in Klungkung. The attraction of Kerta Gosa besides traditional Kamasan style painting in Bale and Bale Kambang Kerta Gosa, other important relics still be around and can not be separated in terms of historical value is great pemedal (the gate / gate). Great Pemedal located west Kerta Gosa very emit the value of cultural heritage palace. At this Supreme Pemedal also contained traditional Balinese architecture and artistic value. The gate is what ever serves as a support mechanism for the throne of power holders (the Supreme Deity) in Klungkung for over 200 years (1686-1908).

In the event of war against the Dutch military expedition known as the event Puputan Klungkung on April 28, 1908, holders of Dewa Agung Jambe last throne and his followers killed. (The recording of this event is now immortalized in a monument Puputan Klungkung is located across Kerta Gosa). After the defeat of the main building Semarapura Kingdom (innards), crushed and used as a place of human habitation. The highest of the remaining debris is Kerta Gosa, Bale Gili Kambang with its Park and Palace Gate which turned out to be a very interesting object both from the tourism and especially cultural historical studies.

Kerta Gosa was also once functioned as a court hall that during the Dutch colonial bureaucracy in Klungkung (1908-1942) and since the appointment of a chief district officer indigenous kingdoms in Klungkung (Ida I Dewa Agung of Klungkung State) in 1929. In fact, the former court equipment rattan chairs and tables using carved wood and paint prade still exist. The objects that are evidence of the legacy of traditional indigenous institutions such as the courts have ever accepted in Klungkung in the colonial period (1908-1942) and the period of Japanese occupation (1043-1945). In 1930, restoration of paintings ever done puppet contained in Kerta Gosa and Bale Kambang by the artists of Kamasan paintings. Restoration of the last paintings done in 1960.

Sunset In Bali

 Sunset In Bali

While living on the coast, I really love the walk on the beach while waiting for sunset. Coastal charm and natural Pesaren rarely visited by tourists make their own comfort for me to enjoy the atmosphere of a quiet beach.

Walking from the east end heading west while the sun broke through dazzling enough. Sea breeze that slowly adds coolness. And I sometimes borrow a bike owned small children Pesaren to get around in the vicinity of the beach.

Then stop in the vicinity of the ships that was parked on the outskirts of the beach. Sitting and chatting with residents setmpat while enjoying the charm of the sunset in this place.

Sunlight gradually change to yellow, orange, and reddish as the sun sets flow of events is very impressive. Perfection sunset process is often how I feel. Finally atmosphere into darkness and the moon appeared light. Hopefully, this beauty will remain intact when the passage of time, after the beach was developed into a tourist attraction.
